Aged Inventory Incentives?

Recommended Posts

Just got a call from my dealer trying to pressure me to come out before Thursday and the incentives changing. I told him the truck I wanted to look at was on his lot since last October...so I would assume if anything with the 16's coming that the incentives would get better in October than they are in Sept...

Anyone have any insight as to what they are going to do with incentives come October?

Depending on the truck, from the posts I have seen here the last several days, 2015's manufactured in that time period experienced several issues. May be why it's still on the lot.

The posts on the site mean basically nothing. Forums are just a easy medium for people to complain on. But yes there will be lemons out there because of the sheer number of these trucks produced. But anything posted on forums must be taken with a grain of salt.

I had looked at 2 leftover 2014 units in August- when I considered the trucks were nearly 2 years old, I couldn't justify what they wanted for them. 37K MSRP truck for 30K.(I left)

2W/T Crew Cab Short bed. Nothing spectacular.

They treated my offer (27K) like I was wasting their time, so as far as I'm concerned they can sit on their truck another 2 years.

The one is now advertised as a used truck with 17 miles on it, GM Certified for 28K. Good Luck.
