Retrax Pro MX truck bed drain holes

Can anyone that has this top tell me where they drilled the drain holes in the bed, and what size? I ordered the Retrax Pro MX, but don't have it yet, and I'm getting Line-X sprayed in the bed tomorrow. I kind of wanted to drill the holes prior to the Line-X.

I did not drill any holes. I bought a small plastic 90 on the side with the bigger hole and a brass 90 that reduced the side to fit in the little hole at Home Depot in the plumbing section. Since mine came with the spray in bed liner I did not want to drill it. So far is seems to be working fine and I live in Southwest FL where it's been raining for the past 3 months.

Also, I have a Bedrug mat and it lays on top of it and holds it in place.

Thanks Jeff, but aren't those holes with the plugs in the sides higher up than the drain outlets on the Retrax? Does it drain ok? Sounds like a good solution.

No, these are the drain holes in the bottom of the bed closest to the cab. As far as I can tell it drains fine. Whenever I've opened and closed it when it's dry, it always comes back dry. My thinking is it only takes a little longer to drain and there is not a lot of water that gets in there.

Thanks for your help Jeff, I'll check it out!
