Washing exterior plasti dip items

So I recently plasti dipped my rims and wanted to pick the brains of the people that have plasti dipped tires and bumpers and such. Will the plasti dip hold up OK if I run my truck though a car wash that uses high pressure water and such? Anyone done this before? Thanks in advance

Just ran mine thru a car wash. I only have plastidipped emblems, but all turned out fine. I did however, wipe my emblems with acetone before i put 4 coats of plastidip on so the prep will probably affect the durability im sure

I've had some dip on for more than a year. 18 mos or so. I need to remove in advance of winter, but it has held up as good or better than the rest of the truck actually. No auto washes, but a HARSH environment.

Don't be afraid of it. It's VERY durable.

Thanks, I too have my emblems sprayed and have been through the car wash multiple times, with no issues, I'm just a little more paranoid now because it took me so long to do the rims lol. I used the dipyourcar.com predip spray, so I should be good there.

I dipped my rims and I haven't brought my truck through a car wash yet. I been hand washing it. I haven't had any problems with washing. With a pressure washer I don't think you will have a problem unles you have some spots that you missed where the water can get under.

Not sure if this helps at all, but I plasti dipped my entire hunting vehicle. I have ran it through multiple car washed and it has only affected the mirrors for some odd reason, but rims and truck still look great
