Anyone cutting directly into the return line?

So the parts your looking at are located on the drivers side, on the inside of the frame. If you look about 1 to 2 o'clock of the plug you'll see three holes on the frame. How are the fuel lines connected to the sensor?? Do they need special crimp tool?? I have small pipe cutter to cut the lines.
