Also got the wiring harness. Now I have to decide on if I'm going to install them or take it to the dealer. I'm leaning toward doing it myself,

Damn, I wouldn't even think about doing it myself. If your dealer has a body shop, go talk to them about doing it. It might be something they can bang out and know what needs to be done without having to guess.

 

If they don't have a body shop, find a Chevy or GMC store that does have one.

I've got friend who is a GM master technician, he's been doing GM mechanics for over 35 years. He'll be my resource if needed.

I contacted my friend who works for my local dealer, he suggested that I not install these. He told me that because I have a sunroof, it would be a B!tch to drop the headliner. I also contacted a body shop and they told me something similar.

 

So an RMA has been requested and will be returned. I'm going to go another route using these:

Plan is to put five amber LEDs in the grill using the above lights.
