Tire Size question

Hey guys...I'm a newbie, just joined today. I tried navigating through and searching the forums, but I don't know what to search. Not very tech savvy!

 

I am leveling (cranking torsion bars, not using keys,) and purchasing aftermarket 18" wheels for my '09 2500HD 4x4. I've called 4 Wheel parts, discount tire, posted on social media, and have no clear cut answers yet. What size tires are you guys able to fit under your trucks? Is this the proper way to do this? I had 2 different guys tell me that If i used the Torsion Keys, that my A arm will constantly rub against (the frame I believe they said) and will make for a very rigid ride.
