Blazer v S10

Hey everyone,

 

After doing some shopping around VA, I have found out that you can get a better selection with the Blazer 4x4s.  Even the price is better in some cases.  I have three questions here about the Blazer:  1)What transmission is in the Blazer?  2)Any problems concerning towing with the blazer ie suspension?  3)What is the largest tire that will fit the stock wheel on the 98 and above models without rubbing?

1)It should be the 4L60E.

 

2)If you get one with the ZR2 offroad suspension the rear end will probably be saggy before you hook up to any kind of a trailer.A set of add a leafs will fix this problem nicely and also help your towing performance.You also should add a good transmission cooler in my opinion.

 

3)Pretty much the stock size.Wheel well openings on the s-series Blazers and trucks are not designed to be fitted with much larger than stock tires unless you go with a lift.
