2016 Mahogany/Autumn Bronze

Maybe I missed this & it was posted elsewhere. But saw the autumn bronze in person today on a Silverado & it looks 10x better in person.

There is a High Country in a video at the first link. Even that does not look as good as it does in person. But the HC with the

brown interior & paint would be a bit much for me.

I thought (from pictures) it seemed to have a red hue to it. Does it since you've seen it in person?

With the sun reflecting off if it, it looked like Tungsten/Iridium metallic with a brown background instead of gray. Did not notice much red, but 50 mph winds & mid morning sun... Definitely want to see it again on a normal day.

Yes, it does have a maroon red tint to it. Very nice color. Very uncommon color too. Glad I got it.

 

My Avalanche is Light Pewter Metalic. A nice color, but it was the most common truck color from GM in the early 2000's when I bought it. I am glad to have a less common color now. Makes t stand out more.

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra (regular cab) with the Mahogany exterior color and I love it. I don't see too many new GMC trucks on the road in this color. I just like not having a popular color. I added some chrome mirror covers, chrome door handles, chrome door molding and chrome step bars and the color really pops. People are always coming up to me saying they like the color because it is different. The only problem not having a popular color, everyone knows (friends, neighbors, etc.) very quickly that it is most likely my truck where I don't blend in with the crowd anymore. It is pretty cool that makes a statement "I have arrived". So I hope GMC discontinues this color very soon especially on trucks. It appears this color is not in the line up for 2017 and I think this color was only offered from 2015 to 2016 on the new models GMC trucks. Is this correct? Anyways, I like this color a lot and may start waving to people with the same color trucks since there are not too many of them. Great sleeper color!
