2015 Denali and lift question

So I just purchased a 2015 1500 Denali 4x4. I want to lift it but everyone in town is saying pretty much it can't be done due to magneride. I did find one fabtech kit that looks like it'll work but has anyone else had any luck? Any ways, this is my first "brand new" truck and man do I love it. Big switch from a 3/4 ton dodge diesel but I wouldn't switch back.

Leveling the truck is difficult if your plan is maintaining close to factory ride quality and leaving the magnaride shocks on- it involves moving the shock sensor the precise distance of the level/lift height, fabricating mounting tabs/bracket for the sensor and hoping the whole suspension works as intended. For this reason I opted to get an all terrain SLT over a Denali.

If you like the way the truck rides I wouldn't mess w/ a level on the Denali personally, but if you wanna truly "lift" it forget about the magnaride suspension and get some fox shocks or bilsteins and do a legit body/suspension lift I suppose

I had mine leveled at the dealership. They recalibrated the magnetic ride control. No change in ride quality.

That is excellent news! I'm going to order a '16 Denali 1500 6.2 this week or next. I have been very torn between an SLT Z71 and the Denali as I want to do a level or a lift kit and install slightly larger (BFG KO2) tires but was worried about the negative side effects of levelling an MRC equipped truck. Could you please more specific about your experience i.e. what brand of level kit and did the dealer install it? If aftermarket installed, did the dealership warn you about suspension warranty being voided when you brought it in for MRC recalibration?

Just found that Fabtech sells one compatible, it's a 6". Only thing is it won't work with factory wheels, not a big deal since I'm buying new ones anyways. wheels have to have 5" back spacing. Anyone familiar with this particular Fabtech kit?

Dealership installed it and recalibrated. They also supplied the kit - Pro Comp is the brand. no mention of warranty one way or the other, but they'd have a tough time voiding my suspension warranty due to something they've installed.

What state are you in?

In MA they won't sell a lifted truck or install anything like that for fear of liability

Has anyone tried the level kit for the '15 Denali with magnetic ride?https://www.suspensionmaxx.com/store/product/SMX-GM725

Or tried the 4"or 6" lift from fab tech yet. I really want more company's to come out with lifts before I get one. I called BDS and they said they're working on one. I asked BDS about the fab tech lift and they said they have heard a few people having issues with fab tech. They had no release date yet for the BDS lift.

Had my 6" Fabtech lift installed on Friday. I love it! Drive is very close to factory. The only thing is that the 35's do rub sometime but I already knew there would be some minor trimming. Other than that, no complaints.

Got the 6 inch Fabtech Gen 2 kit on order, I did alot of research on all the kits & I like the Fabtech kit as they say it keeps the track width very close to factory. Also I have talked to a few guys who run the OEM wheels with 35's with no problems. I will post pix once its all installed. No one can tell me if the lift kit puts strain on the magneride struts or not. Looks like I will be the guinea pig.
