Go Rhino RB10 Users...

I have a question for all the people with Go Rhino RB10 Running Boards. Did you guys take off the gaudy silver "Go Rhino" logo off of the side? It looks riveted in. If so, how did you remove it? I know there will be holes left behind, are they noticeable? And are they coated inside the holes, or will they need some touch up?

Thanks!

Any pictures? My RB10's don't have the tag...

Same, this must be something nee GoRhino has started to do. If I'm not mistaken it'll probably just be a small pop rivet that you can drill out.

I guess it is new. I wasn't happy about it. I called Go Rhino to complain about it, as well as ask for the rest of the parts that didn't ship. The operator told me all Go Rhino step bars have logos affixed to them. I told him that in every publication photo of these bars, including their website, I have never seen these logos. I haven't seen them on pics of users trucks either. Or their SEMA videos or install videos, but he assured me I was wrong. If I knew they would be on it, I honestly wouldn't have ordered them. I think they're tacky. Especially on a blacked out truck...

Geez most everything comes with some type badge now a day (ditto with my roll bak). Ofcourse SEMA won't use them, the people are going for a total look and will remove certain things that don't match.

Just hit it with a spray, or vinyl or something else or just pop them off. They will be small holes on the bottom of the truck, they won't make or break it or be noticeable. Guess you could always send them back (probably for a re-stocking fee or shipping) and get something you don't like as much for a small cosmetic detail that is easily changeable?

Well thats new... I would drill them out, grab a quart of bedliner and with a piece of painters tape on the back side of the holes, start adding material (just drip it in the hole) until the hole is filled.

That's not a bad idea!

Notice they are still packed for shipping. I haven't 100% ruled out sending these back and getting something else...

If I were in your shoes I would be extremely frustrated with GoRhino. Yes it's a simple plaque that can be easily removed. But the point is thats not what you thought you ordered, nor should you have expected anything else. You should however keep the running boards and make the necessary modifications to remove the plaques. Ive had mine on for several thousand miles and after the first retorque I haven't touch them. The combination of looks and sturdiness does it in for me.
