Need tailgate netting or alternative

I'm looking to get a tailgate net to replace my tailgate for the snowplowing season.

I ordered one off of Amazon, this one specifically http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FZNIL2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

 

I don't want to use the one that I ordered because you have to drilll new holes for its cheap mounting brackets and it doesn't exactly fit.

Does anyone have a good net to use? Price doesn't concern me as long as it's not overly expensive. Or an alternative of course!

Motogate tailgate net...I use it when I transport my quad...and you can adjust it to keep cargo from sliding.

What exactly do you need a "tailgate" for? As in, what is the use in the winter?

Never ordered one, but JC Whittney I would think would have a cheap one that would fit your application

I'm gonna guess visibility when backing up, but I've never plowed with a pickup.

Most people who plow professionally or over large areas have some type of rock and salt dispenser that sits in the bed. This is the only reason I can think of to need a mesh tailgate.

If you have a spreader in your bed, you won't have your tailgate up.....or even on the truck.

 

 

I'm still curious what he needs the net for.
