Tow mirror question please

I just got a pair gm towing mirrors.New Power fold style. my Denali has power fold. Can these be wired to be the turn signal and stay on when headlights turn on? My stereo shop says no? But I know I've seen new HD gm trucks at night with their mirror blinkers on? I love the look of all those little orange LEDs on. Thanks

Orange led are for running lights. And they can be

are they just running lights and blinking ?

I guess can they be used as both.

They are running lights and that's how I wired mines but you could wire them for either running or turn signals. I don't think they would work as both.

The actual turn signals are in the glass part and they red arrow shape.
