I see you did 8 turns but hit the stop on some speed bumps. So what about 4 turns? Would that be 1" and wont hit the stop?

Just depends how hard you hit the speed bumps, the frame stops are there regardless, the thing is the more you crank the closer the control arm gets to the frame stop so there is less travel before hitting them.

 

I am not concerned with hitting the frame stops, my concern is with popping a upper ball joint as the angle/stress is very bad it that height.
