Yea it definitely is a problem. I rented a Yukon XL a few months ago while on a trip out of town, and I can attest, this buffeting sound is super annoying. I could barley stand to drive the truck for 4 days. I couldn't imagine owning one.

Awesome job getting them to cross ref the NHTSA complaints across all SKUs

Please see if you can convince the authors to go test drive some 16s so they can refute the GM spokeswoman, issue definitely not fixed in 16s

GM says that they can't fix my 2016 Denali over 30 days in the shop - trade assistance offered and new Denali ordered. Believe me there are other 2016's just in my town that have issues and they are all documented at the dealerships.

If anyone hasnt noticed, all the links in there link to here.

I saw the article and posted a story. Also made a complaint to the Feds today. Hope this gets someone to wake up and fix or recall all these vehicles.

Yep. 2016 right here, too.

I did that on purpose. Excellent background from real owners.

I got an email from my boss this morning telling me to look at it.

I just sent the following to both Chevy and GMC via thier online contact forms:

"Dear GM/Chevrolet: We will be purchasing a new vehicle in 2016 to replace our aging 2002 Suburban. We were considering a 2016 Tahoe or Yukon but just read about the noise/booming issues that seem to be associated with roof attachment. They are now OFF our shopping list until we hear for sure these issues have been corrected in the build (not after the fact repairs). As a long time Chevy guy, I was sorry to hear of these problems. Good luck and let me know what you did to fix it."
