HID Ballast

has anyone installed an HID kit Behind the dust covers on the headlights. I test fit every thing and everything fit into the housing. But I was wondering if anyone has done this.

I have done this. I did have problems with the HID lights not always firing. I think it may have been from the low voltage being supplied to the ballast. I have since got the headlight bcm update and the different light bulbs installed. I may re install the HID lights now that the voltage should be what the ballasts are looking for.

I just bought a kit that has "bullet" ballasts. http://opt-7.com/opt7-blitz-bullet-hid-kit/ Everything fits behind the dust cap and haven't had any heat issues yet. I'd like to see pics of where others have their ballasts installed.
