Torsion bars not even from factory?

Hi guys,

 

My drivers side torsion bar is adjusted about 2-3 turns "higher" than my passenger side. The truck is pretty level side to side. Is this normal? Is it for more weight on the drivers side? Can someone with a 15 2500 gas crew cab see if theirs is the same way?

What will really weird you out is when you put a tape measure on the truck and realize the right side is taller then the left...

Yup it's normal. Had to do the same in my 02 1500 to level it out side to side. Usually because of the constant driver weight and also the fuel tank is on that side

The fuel tank is big enough now that it really makes a difference, I like to get the truck allinged with a half tank of fuel and sand bags on the drivers floorboard, it does make a difference!

Glad to hear mine isn't the only one that is high on the left side. I noticed it while leveling it. Before I did anything the front was very close from one side to the other. On the rear, the left side was nearly 1/2" higher.
