Ordered some Amps - Will they be too low on my stock Sierra?

I had a set of powersteps on old '09 and was a big fan. That truck had a level and slightly larger tires.

My new '16 4WD is at stock height (20" wheels with standard tire size). I want to ditch the stock step bars for a clean look but after looking at pictures and video I am now antsy that the Amps will hang down too low when deployed to be overly useful (they look lower than the stock steps on the truck now). I want some sort of step to avoid wearing out the front seats mainly, and for comfort.

Anyone here have them on a stock truck? What are your thoughts?

Thanks much.

I just put them on my new 2016. They are about eight inches lower than the stock stationary step. In my mind the AMP steps are just right. I can easily put my foot out the door, onto the step and lift off of the seat instead of sliding across the outboard seat cushion, which will eventually wear the leather and foam inside. My wife loves them too. She says they are just right for her. Much easier ingress and egress.

I would also like to add that I purchased mine from AutoAnything. A few days ago I saw that someone posted a better price on ourdealsrock.com. I copied the link, took a screenshot and sent an email with the information to AA. A few hours later got an email that they are going to credit my credit card $100.99 to match and beat the competitors lower price by $1.00. The AMP's are a great option I would recommend to anyone.

I too wanted to ditch the stock benches for a cleaner look, and something more useful. I installed the Amp steps a few days ago and my family finds them to be a bit too low. We all feel they would be better if they were a couple inches higher. That said, they are still more useful and have a cleaner look than stock. As always, YMMV.
