Can we drive there for an in person tune?

I'm guessing you won't drive across country but may be interested in one of those other locations. Do you have any hesitation on the emailed tune? I can vouch for the results of an email tune. Mine was absolutely perfect on the first round. No changes needed. Keep in mind:

 

1) They have tuned many many vehicles exactly like ours.

2) You send your stock tranny and engine file, as well as a recording, which provides any unique behavior that your truck may have. This essentially gives you the same opportunity as someone who gets their tune in person.

 

Maybe someone else can provide some insight on having a tune done in person, but my tune was dead on and I only had to leave my house to do a test drive!

We are in San Diego, but as mentioned, we do tuning trips across the US. We frequent NOVA quite a bit for tuning meets (we also used to live there).

Ah, we have done tuning meets there. As a matter of fact, the guys were just in Concord.

Im starting to go for the BBP tune.... Back home i have access to no less then 7 shops that all tune very well.... My problem ia that i work all over the US.... Oo maybe not that big but home is in south texas and right now i am in north dakota...... Next project is in Iowa..... Or Wyoming..... Or Pennsylvania..... Not sure where i am going to be sent.

 

Think the BBP tune/updates would benifit me more since i can change the tune whenever i want instead of having to wait till i go home to get a re tune.....

 

 

Reason my headers are just sitting there in my room and not on the truck.

On the site it has shipping as express mail.... Any way i xan get it Fedex/UPS? I live in a VERY rural town as in....no mailbox. UPS/FedEx will deliver to my door but anything sent regular mail gets sent back.... Work 7/12s so dont have time to ipen a PO Box either.

 

Also me and my girl both have 2014 5.3s....

 

I know i have to pay for the credits and use the autocal but how can i distinguish between mine and her tunes? She will probably only have a catback exhaust.... Mine will have a lot of goodies.... Probably a blower as well.

 

Dont want to get them mixed up by accident lol

When you go through the check out process, there is an option to choose other shipping options, FedEx and UPS after both options.

 

No worries on getting them confused the guys can rename them appropriately.

As far as tuning a cam swap...as well as gears.

 

How quick are the turn arounds since i cant be down without the truck for more then a couple days.

For a cam swap and gears, you don't have to be without your vehicle. You have two options:

 

1. submit a tune request for your mods prior to installing them

2. you can run those mods without a tune update for a short time, you just can't get on the throttle and your speedo will be off
