z71 Snap-on Chrome Grill Insert??

I love chrome grills but couldn't turn down a deal on a 2015 z71 with the black grill.

Apparently I'm not alone as there is an aftermarket snap-on insert.

Can anyone speak of it's quality? At under a $100 it's not much risk but I thought I would ask.

OR has anyone actually swapped out, maybe had their black grill chromed?? any ideas welcome...

I'd be interested in how it looks. Can't believe they don't have a picture of it mounted. If you decide to buy it make sure you post up a pic.

Exactly how I felt... I'm thinking of waiting until Monday and giving the company a call and seeing if they can provide me with a pic. I've read somewhere that it actually clips in supposedly providing a very robust and secure attachment.

I'll keep ya posted.

Well thank you very much for the link... I don't like the idea they claim 95% of the grills work NO problem. I'm not into grinding a grill down on a truck with 83 miles on her...lol....

Plan to give them a call and see if I'm in the 5% of Loser-Ville to see if they'll refund my money....

I had one on my 2015 fit and looked good but decided to go back to the black since I went with black rims. It is one month I will sell for 50 dollars if anyone is interested.

I just bought the same truck for the same reason. The Texas edition is what I originaly thought I went in to get but they practically paid me to buy the Z71 CrewCab with 4x4. I love the chrome grill on the Texas 1500's

I have the chrome z71 grill and I want to black grill do they make the snap on black grill like the chrome grill everyone is showing?? Aslo does any one know if they make the grill with silver and black instead of chrome and black?

The snap-on seems to really be working well.... Might be an option (keep in mind I did body work for years) to have it custom sprayed in colors you want.
