found a good deal on a MBRP exhaust local is it good or bad system

So this is what I found locally trying to figure out if it's a good exhaust to go with I know it's MBRP witch I have jo experience with and it's new in the box still

I have installed a few of them and have to be one of my favorite systems. I have one on my RCSB and love it. I will have a used 3" system up for sale soon off of my neighbors truck that he traded in.

I'm curious if when going into v4 if I'll be horrible drone or just get horrible drone in general. Did you find that it's obnoxiously loud or kind of like a borla type s exhaust?

it did have the v4 sound but it turned my AFM off. It's not loud to me but that's my opinion.

I have had it on 2 different trucks. I loved it on both, nice deep tone and not raspy at all.

Unfortunately I stumbled upon flow master and it is more expensive I prefer the sound alot more. From videos I seen this one is not the deep growl im after but the Flowmaster has that

I have an MBRP system on my '14 and love it. Free flowing, deep growl, and not onboxiously loud. Flowmaster's are junk IMO. Sound good, but are way too restrictive. Though Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and choice. Good luck with the decision.

Any chance you could take a start up video and Rev I can't find anything for the newer trucks.. Maybe change my opinion do you find it to be pretty quite and how is it in v4?

The cell phone videos on youtube are a joke..... I have the MBRP 3.5" on my 6.2 and I will tell you right now the truck sounds basically nothing like the recordings online of the same truck/system. I even recorded my own truck and it sounds like rubbish in comparison to how it actually does sound. A guy I work with has a 15 5.3 with the MBRP 3" on his and says it sounds much like mine..... it's plenty deep. Flowmasters sound like garbage.... especially in the cab of the vehicle they are mounted on.

I didn't care for the popping sound after watching like an hour of videos sounded like a v6 to me. Where the Flowmaster style had a nice deep tone no pop and you can get it zinc coated to prevent rust anything metal will rust. But I'm in Canada and our dollar took a dump so it's cheaper for. Me to get a custom one made for my truck so I'll probably go thay route this weekend and try and get a video with my go pro after install to show sound so it's not a crappie cell phone

The mbrp is stainless... that's good enough rust prevention for Alberta lol. Flowmaster just sounds like junk... and inhibits flow more than the stock muffler does. But everyone thinks differently lol.
