Newbie from VA and my first diesel!

Hi all,

 

My name is Rob. I just purchased a new 2015 Silverado 2500HD crew cab 4x4 with the duramax. I'm coming from a 2013 F150 Supercrew 4x4 Ecoboost. The silverado is definitely a lot more truck, to say the least. This is my first diesel and though I worked on cars and trucks in my earlier years, I know nothing about diesels at all so I am looking to learn a lot from y'all.

 

We'll be pulling a 32' 2016 Keystone Passport (spent a lot of money this year) LOL....so I'm excited to see how much different this truck pulls and the ecoboost while it had enough power got dreadful mpgs in tow, 7-9 for a 7K trailer loaded. I think the sound of the diesel alone was worth the $8k! Anyway....hi all. See you around.

Hello! In Mechanicsville, just outside of Richmond. What year camaros do you have? I am a fan of all them but 3rd Gen has a special place in my heart.

I'm actually in Mechanicsville myself. I currently have a 2016 Camaro. I'm with you on the 3rd gen. I love the IROC Z.
