2015 Looking at the Fabtech 6" lift, what are your thoughts?

Anyone have this lift?

What do you like about it?

What do you dis like about it?

Which version did you get, they have several and I really don't know the difference between them?

Any issues with a 0 offset wheel?

Is there a lift you think is better?

Did anyone have the shake/vibration before this lift?

If so did it go away or get worse?

Sorry for 50 questions, thanks for reading and any help you offer.

Hello GM-Trucks,

I'm looking for opinions on the Fabtech 6" lift as well.

I'm looking at used trucks and one that I am interested in already has the Gen II Basic already installed.

It also currently has 35" tires which I'd run until they get worn then probably go down to 33".  I've looked at pics online and 6" lift with 33" tires looks pretty good.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.  I am running a Fabtech lift on my 2017 Silverado LT.  I'm very happy with it but this is also my first lifted truck so my experience with lifts isn't that extensive.  My build thread is here if you'd like to see the truck:

The only thing I changed as it relates to the lift is that I added a leaf in the rear.  I didn't like the stance with just the lift kit.  The truck is almost perfectly level but I prefer the OEM look of the slightly raised rear.  The ride was no different with the added leaf.

Best of luck with the truck shopping.
