Seat removal question

I have a 2014 regular cab. The question I have is there anything that I have to do to special before removing the seats to do some console and stereo work? My concern is the airbags that are in them. Do I just unplug them or do I have to remove a fuse or disconnect the battery first?

Just unplug the seat connector. GM would have you disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes. Do that if it makes you feel safer.
