Sub Box for a Crew Cab???

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, this is only my second post and I would like to have many more in the year to come, I'm excited that I finaly bought the truck that I wanted, and now I would like to get a nice sound system in it, the only problem I have is that I can not fins a sub box to fix under the rear seat, all stealth boxes that I have found are only for extended cabs and not fot crew cabs since I'm new to this forum I was wondering if there is someone that knows where I can find a sub box to fit my application

I have been to many stereo shops are they don't even know how to make a box to fix under the seat all I want is someone to gide me, thanks in advance.

I was in the exact same predicament with my '03 crew cab. So, I emailed JL Audio and they told me they will have one out in a few months and that was back in early April. They figured they would have it ready during July or August. So, I designed my own for an 8" Rockford Fosgate dual voice coil sub that will fit behind the rear seat. I'm just waiting for the sub now... I'll let ya know how it turns out.

Jose, I see you have a '98. Therefore, I don't think JL Audio is making a model to fit crew cab.

ok

jl has a stealth box for the 00-02 truck but it is in the center console. You will lose the rear vents. The jl audio 8.1 micro sub will fit behind the seat perfectly but if you want under the seat check out SUBTHUMP

I ended up using a Kicker 8L7 (dual 4 ohm vc) powered by a Kicker KX600.1 (745 watts according to the birthsheet) in a 1.0 cu ft ported box, tuned to 39 hz.

The box takes up pretty much the whole length of the area behind the rear seat.

Hey guys, heres some pics of my sub box and amps. The work was done by Marks Auto Sound in San Gabriel Ca. The subs are 10W3s and the amps are JL 500 & 300.
