Leather Interior

have been doing some reading on the "looseness" of aftermarket leather and it is pretty common that it is loose after install but will tighten in time. I did find some info today about steaming it while installing that will get it tighter faster but it should be steamed from the inside and not on the visable leather side.

Side note the local dealer had a Great Lakes Edition 2016 on the lot with Katzkin installed and even it looked loose like mine.

Any pics of the Katzkin interiors? I was looking at the kits on eBay as well, highly debating picking one up. Do they fit tight? OEM look? I was worried that it might not look like it fits or saggy compared to OEM leather?

Ive got some pics in my gallery. And as far as loose fit goes, mine tightened up within a couple weeks

I have also mastered a pick technique to remove the covers from the clips that are molded in to the foam.

Those are the exact covers I want. I did the center console so that eliminates the jump seat.

yeah no jumpseat makes things easier. there was a separate 20 min video just for it. lots of cutting and stapling.

Hey skippy you wouldn't have the model number of the kit you bought. I'm looking on eBay I think I found it but just wanna double check. I got a LT double cab number I got was c258A.

dbcooper - did you install in summer?

Installed in early october, but i live in the hot, humid south. Im sure that sped up the tightening time some
