Weird steering creak/ Groan (video)

Drove my truck though a flooded road that had about 5 inches of water on it. Now it makes an annoying groan when turning the wheel, especially on the left side. Could it be a tie rod? Just greased the front end with no difference. Any help would be really appreciated

Wow, that's certainly noticeable. Does it sound like it's internal to the cab or external to the engine area? What is the condition of your power steering fluid?

does that year have a rack...if so i would check the bellows on each end of the rack. also check if ps fluid is contaminated

you may find this strange but these are known for the steering shaft from under the dash to the box to go bad. You can remove it from the steering box and slide the shaft in and out but it will come back. This moves the grease around inside the shaft. Dorman makes a replacement shaft. About 60 dollars.
