Turn signal question

So inside the car the right indicator clicks faster. Outside the front flashes quickly and the rear light won't work. Is this typically a fuse issue

Fuse or bulb in the rear

I wonder if that quick flashing of the green arrow is a sign for the driver that a bulb went out.

 

ill go look around the fuse box and see what i can find

Typically the fast flash is your indicator that you have a blown bulb. So the fact that you see the rear isn't working is probably the bulb.

hah, went out to get a new bulb and the current one started working...had no issues today

Possibly have some corrosion in the socket preventing proper contact would be my guess.

When you take the tail light out to change the bulb, you are likely to find some corrosion on the connectors and or lamps. That was a problem with my 98.

so i popped out the the bulb from socket and if i look in the socket, there is a little orange/ rust like changes at the connector...just a little.

 

how is the best way to clean off corrosion deep in the socket

 

the wiring to the plug looked fine

I've used contact cleaner and a battery brush to get down in those sockets with pretty good success.

I think aerosol battery terminal cleaner works good. I keep it on hand for batteries and such, made for this type of use IMO.

Spray some in the bulb connector, scrub with small brush or tooth brush wipe with rag and pencil eraser.
