im tired of these yuppie SUV drivers.  one was in a 4Runner today and was swerving all over the road like a drunk...another was running lights and cutting corners really sharp in a trooper while on the phone.  some people don't deserve to drive

I agree Paco.  My dad sells insurance in Mobile, and his boss's

family drives Suburbans.  His wife has had so many accident's he had to move her to a high risk provider.  His daughter is no better.  She's hit a doctor's BMW and knocked another car out of the road into a parking lot.  You should see the bowheads here in Auburn driving there parents suv's.  Last semester I had 2 near headon collisions with them.   :idontgetit:

dont feel bad i almost got hit (not including the time i did get hit today) twice today.  Some guy going to the mall didnt even have his outside mirrors out they were folded in.  I was in a turning lane to turn left he cut out i slammed on the bakes and horn.  He goes up a little then hits his left turn signal (guess he didnt know it was a turning lane only) I hit the horn and he kept going guess i scared him

No more driving for a few days for me

I know of a few semi drivers that shouldn't be driving.  Just last week a guy off the interstate tried to turn around his semi in the driveway at our west farm.  Backed himself down a steep gravel lane that goes to our pasture, it was muddy and he was fully loaded, what do you think happened?  Yep, he buried himself.  Guess it took the wrecker four hours once he got there to pull the guy out, then since the semi driver was so incompetent the wrecker guy had to back the semi out on the road for him.

This interstate also brings out the morons whenever I am driving a tractor down the road.  More than a few have tried to pass me in a no passing zone in the middle of a snowstorm only to meet a car.  Kind of amazing the stupidity they exhibit as they spin three times in the road before going into the ditch.  Had one moron not able to see the big red wagon with flashing lights all over it, ran right into it on a bright sunny day.  Just amazing, simply amazing.

There are a bunch of stupid drivers here in Kansas City. I have almost been rearend more times then I care to count. I was almost side swiped by some girl on her cell phone friday. Had a cop tail gating me on my way home this morning. I thought about pulling over and seeing if he would stop so I could say something. But, the cops around where I work a A-holes. So, I kept going and go on the highway and he went on straight.  I wont even drive my truck in Johnson County, Kansas. Because there you some little rich, spoiled rotten 16 year old numb nut driving a brand new BMW, Porche(sp?), or Mercades(sp?) like a Formula 1 driver with the head up their A..

I think it's even worse when you're driving an RV.  Nobody wants to be behind you, or wait for you, so they just go.  A couple of years ago, we had just exited the expressway and were navigating through the business area nearby.  A lady in pulled across our lane turning left, but realized there was too much traffic, so she just stopped in front of me.  I had to lock up the brakes, and stopped about a foot or two from her, with my grill next to her driver door.  She looked up at me with a dirty look on her face, as if I'd done something wrong.  Had she waited one more second, I'd have plowed her car.  Duh...big truck, pulling big white camper...guess she had vision problems to go with her mental ones.

JP ive seen many dumb @$$ truck drivers and they give all truck drivers a bad name.  When i worked at menards trucks leaving the lumber yard had one heck of a time.  It was a tight turn.  I had guys say i can make it.  One old guy once was crying how am i gonna get out.  I told him to get out of his truck and id make the turn he was like no no no.  He said i cant make it.  I said did george ryan give you your license.  Then he said im gonna come out of the cab and kick your butt.  I laughed.  25 min later he finally was able to make the turn

Also seen many trucks hit the pole barns (where lumber is kept)

There is a bunch of crazy drivers here in St. Louis also.  Most of them are some spoiled 16 year old driving mommy and daddys cars/trucks or one that mommy and daddy bought for them.  If they had to make the monthy note and insurance on them theirselves I dont think they would drive like that.

Then again when your that age, you think your are invincable.  I just wish they had to work for their vehicles like we do and they would have a new serouisness about their driving.

One note: I do know a few young'ens that do take driving serouis, so I cant include all of them in that group.

I really like the people that think the red light at an intersection doesn't apply to them, and blast through it.  I have gotten in the habit of powerbraking, with my hand on the horn.  As soon as my light goes green, I go, when the people run through, they about crap there pants, and I lay the horn on them.  Maybe it'll make them think about it next time.

I have been tempted to get an old beater car with a V8, and install a roll cage, and a 5 point harness.  Weld re-inforcements on the door, and instead of just start to go when my green light comes on, actually just pull into the intersection.  I would bet that I would probably get hit 2 or 3 times the first day.

I have had two friends that were hit broadside by people running red lights, the first one, totalled her boyfriends Ford truck.  The second one, was seriously hurt, and had his spleen ruptured, and spent a while in the hospital.

People nowdays, think that they are the only one on the road that matters.

I think I know why he was doing it. I saw him and another cop parked at a gas station at the intersection I had to turn on to get to the highway. Both of the cops stopped what they were doing and watched me, I guess they heard me coming. But, once I turned one flew out of the gas station parking lot. I think he was trying to get me to go over the speed limit so he would have a reason to pull me over and inspect my truck. I had a similar situation on the same road a little over a year ago in my cavalier.
