Hmm...Let's see:

6.6L DMax V8 @ (I'm guessing 300hp at the crank) versus a mi-to-late 90's Rustang with (and another guess here  ) a 4.6L V8 @ 260hp again @ the crank....

Ya, dat's yer proof rite der ! :wtf:  :D  :smash:

Actually, I wouldn't mind having a late '60s to early '70s Stang. It'd sure be better than the grocery getter I have right now.  :wtf:  :fume:

If it is a 4x4 CC, it is closer to 7K lbs+. I would have to say the Dmax is not stock, getting a hole shot like that on a Mustang. Nontheless, very impressive.

Pretty impresive run for the truck...... As for the mustang he needs to check himself.  A mustang that can't run low 14's is in sad shape.....

  :wtf:

Very impressive. I recall, from the local tracks, that most stock rustangs are only turning in the mid to high 14's. I have seen a few street stangs, with NOS, running low 12's. It kinda made me sick when it took me close to 600hp to get high 11's to low 12's out of my '72 Chevelle.

It;s that good old weight factor...  If you can drop the weight on any car like a stang your times will start to come down quick.  This big trucks need a lot of horsepower to haul around that GVW...
