HID Flickering?

I have some serious problems with my HID's on my 2015 Silverado.

Mine currently flicker when I first start my truck and then only one will work (either side). If I turn the lights off and then back on numerous times, they will eventually stop flickering and both will turn on.

Say it's dark out and I unlock my truck from my key fob, both lights turn on without flickering. If I keep pressing unlock every few seconds to keep the lights on (to the point were they've finally warmed up all the way) then turn my truck on, sometimes they don't flicker and do just stay on.

This has been this way since my install, 6 months ago.. I do have a snowplow, so inside my cab they installed a switch to switch from the truck lights to the snowplow lights.

Do you guys think it may be something to do with this? I also heard flickering with HIDs in new vehicles is cased by the day time running lights. So you need to bypass that, or something..

Oh, and when I did install these lights.. I installed the low beams first. Typically, only one of the pair worked. I hate to rebuy another set! (Only one of the two in that box worked as well)

Then I installed the high beams a few weeks later. And the same ordeal, only one of the two worked! So, I had to buy each bulb individually at a hefty price of $60 each on Amazon. I did buy the Kensun brand, 55w.

Did anyone else have problems with them after the install? or even during?

Do you have a capacitor installed with a relay harness?

Nope, I do not

You will need a capacitor in the power source for both headlights due to the PWM pulse width modulated power for the DRL's and headlights it does that to make them dimmer during the daytime hours, if you use a relay harness then you will only need one and you will not have to hack up any factory wiring and also a lot easier. I bought mine from the retrofit source and it was all plug and play. Otherwise they will always flicker and you will damage your ballasts if you haven't already, I had my capacitor fail on me for 3 days and it took out both my ballasts. Good luck!!
