Blackout Edition: Special door decals?

Hi guys, I'm the owner of a 2015 Silverado blackout edition. I was surfing youtube tonight and I saw a video from Chevrolet advertising the blackout edition trucks. I took a screen capture from the video of a special badge on the door and vinyl decal. Does anyone have this on their truck? All the blackout edition trucks I've seen do not have this decal or emblem.

i saw one on my dealership lot ? i think they put the decal on . its just like Midnight Edtion come with gold bowtie , dealer install Black on.

So is this a decal the dealer SHOULD have put on or did not all the trucks get them? I didn't know if it was included in a "KIT" from GM or if it was up to the dealer how to install. Basically I want to know if I was short changed or not.

No, its not something that comes with the truck. Its an accessary. Also consider getting P/N: 23218801. Its a blacked out 4X4 Decal to get rid of the red one. I have the 4X4 one on my truck, debating on getting the other.

I'm trying to get a black out edition grille for my silverado but I need a vin to order the grille from my dealer can anyone provide one? Just to order the grille. Thanks in advance!

Isn't it just a normal work truck grill? They should be plentiful and easy to find.

No I believe it's a black z71 grille with chrome insert rather than the black plastic and it's not the honeycomb design

I have a blackout edition truck, there's nothing special about the grille on mine. It's a regular work truck grille with a black bowtie. That's it.

Oh okay thought the midnight edition and blackout edition were the same thing. Thanks though!

I think you might be confusing the Blackout Edition with the Midnight Edition. Blackout edition is a WT model and the midnight has a painted front end of a 2LT or LTZ or something I think.

2016 Midnight Edition is LTZ Z71.

I like the look of the blacked out front of the 2016 but a few trips down the interstate and that thing is going to look like crap with all the rock chips.

I agree, I wish they used a more durable finish on the front end, especially the bumper. It's paper thin flat black paint. I haven't had mine on the interstate yet but I was thinking of having my front bumper XPEL'd or similar. Otherwise I suppose when it gets bad, I could pull the bumper and have it powdercoated after a few years. :/

I have a 2015 midnight - had the whole front end - grill bumper , 6" on hood , mirror caps - 3m clear guard .
