Multiple problems 1999 S-10

Greetings from East Tennessee! Really hopeful that someone can help me solve my Dilemma's!! I think I need some Prozac, first of all a different guy fixed a Broken shaft under the dash that the Clutch and Brake Pedal ride on about 3 years ago. Up until that time EVERYTHING worked fine except the Radio, after the guy fixed the whatever that shaft is called for Clutch and Brake Pedals to ride on , Radio started working again and worked for 2 weeks, then quit and hadn't worked again, guy who did the Broken Shaft repair said its the Antanne, so a couple weeks ago I got tired of never having a Radio bought an antanne and took the S10 to my other friends garage, remember its an 1999 S10 4cyl. 2WD, 5 Speed. So My friend calls me says the Radio is actually bad but he has a used one, so he puts a generic radio in and it works but Speedometer doesn't, it had always worked fine , smooth and accurate. So,Then I take it back, he gets to checking and someone ( Not me) has cut a bunch of wires and some are not even hooked up under the dash, so he spends hours over several days tracing and reconnecting the wires as he thinks they should be, He re-installs the Factory Radio ,I get the truck back this morning, he says before he brings it back....Speedometer is working and original Radio is working, all is good.. I take the truck for a drive, first thing I notice is the Speedometer is erratic, jumping and jerking around and even at 55MPH ( Best Guess) its reading like 30MPH

( Not steady) and jumping around, I go to stop and the Front Brakes are Chattering and jerky and shaking the steering wheel and I notice the ABS Light is on Now!!!, I think WTH!??? NEVER,EVER had any problems with Front Brakes, New Rotors,Calipers ,Pads etc. only about 3K miles go and had been working great, so I turn the original factory radio on thinking well, maybe there's a silver Lining here somewhere?, it works ( Sorta ) on AM, on FM, .....Nothing, its all Static..... no station ,NONE comes in and in "Seek" mode in FM just keeps cycling through the stations, never stopping, Manually Tune to exact station number?...Nothing ..static.......SIGH!!! What in the world has happened?? I am at a point where I would gladly do without the Radio again if Truck was driveable again! Speedometer and Brakes working correctly...Please Ponder on my Dilemma and see if you can guess why these things would seem to be going on. Is it possible a bad ground.... could cause these things to be all "Linked" and bad/ not working all at same time?? I will be VERY,VERY Grateful for any solutions!! E
