RC Leveling Kit Issue - Vibration

I had the RC 2 inch front level installed yesterday and also the replacement 2 inch rear block. The install was completed by a reputable alignment shop who also completed an alignment after the install. After the installation I have been able to feel a shake/vibration in my seat and in the gas pedal. The vibration is not over bearing but is noticeable. I cannot pinpoint it to certain point of driving, for example I have felt it through acceleration and while coming to a stop.

 

Things I have check so far:

 

- Components removed or loosened appear to be tight although I have not checked torque. By watching the install I don’t think items were torqued to spec even though I included a printout of the specs with the kit.

 

- I measured the front of the rear axle to where the cab meets the bed. It appear there is ½ to ¾ inch difference between each side.

 

Before I try to start redoing things or take it back to the shop that did the installation I was hoping to get some feedback from the knowledgeable member of this forum. I read through this forum for a while before deciding to install the level.

 

The other thing I should mention is I had tires installed the same day the leveling kit was installed by a larger chain tire dealer. I do not think the issue is due to the new tires as it has been consistent between the stock tires and the new tires. I already had the appointment for the tire install so I was unable to address the vibration issue before installing the tires.

 

Truck is a 2014 Crew Cab LT 5.3 Standard Bed.

If you had no vibration prior to the lift/level, you're most likely dealing with a change in pinion angle due to the change in height. That's where I would concentrate my attention.

 

However these trucks are very tire sensitive.....

I agree that it's likely an issue caused by change in pinion angle I installed 2" lowering shackles on my 2014 RCSB, and immediately noticed a vibration that wasn't there previously. After installing 2° shims under the rear springs, the vibration disappeared.
