Truck is squeaking and can't find the problem. NEED HELP

I have an 04 1500 5.3. I have a squeaking noise coming from belt area. I changed idler pulley tenioner pulley water pump alternator ac tenioner pulley and both belts and still it's making noise. It chirps when idling some but mostly when I pish the gas. Thanks guys

I would buy an mechanics stethoscope (I think that's the name) and try to pin point the noise.

Perkins, is the tensioner itself putting enough tension on the belt? Spring could be fatigued if not.

 

If that's not it, the only thing left is the power steering pump, or the A/C pulley bearing in the compressor. The A/C belt has it's own little tensioner and pulley too.

Yeah I changed both tenioners and both belts. I think I found the problem. I put water on the belt and the noise stopped. And of course came back when it dried. I'm going to take the belt off and start it to make sure it's the belt. And if that's it I'm going to get a new belt. And hope that fixes it.they might have gave me the wrong belt at the store

Could be a defective tensioner too, possibly. Normally if under the correct tension, they shouldn't squeak no matter what. Can't hurt to get a fresh belt on there though.

 

While it's off, spin everything by hand and look / listen for anything unusual.

So I tool the new belt I replaced off. Started the truck up. And no noise. Went and got a new belt and problem fixed. I feel like a dumb ass for not checking sooner but at least I found it thanks guys
