I have a 2009 GMC Sierra with intermittent wiper problems. If I place the wipers in intermittent mode (slowest level) the wipers will act normally most the time but from time to time they take off and run like they're in continuous mode. Then they'll go back to normal intermittent operation. It's completely random. Are the wipers controlled by a BCM? If so is there an issue with the BCM? Thoughts??

I see nobody replied to your problem, and I am having the exact problem on my 2008 Silverado. Did you ever find a fix?
