Impact of dead battery on 2016 Colorado electrics

I have a 2016 Colorado and the battery has died and I will not be able to recharge it for a few weeks. What is the impact on the electronics of the vehicle? Will recharging bring everything back to its original settings or does the vehicle need to go back to the dealer for service?

Thanks,

Don't overcharge it and if you jump it, be careful. Jumping it wrong can cause voltage spikes that shut down various modules in these new trucks. If you charge it on a low to moderate setting, you will be okay.

If the battery is that dead and it's sitting dead it's junk and will never recharge fully.

Check your owners manual and warranty and it may be covered by GM.
