15' camber issues

Hey guys looking for some advice here.. I had a leveling kit (3") installed prior to me putting 20x12 fuel octane wheels and 305/55 terra graps. Looked great but rubbed horribly.. So I ordered super lifts 3.5" lift with upper control arms.. Got it installed and took the TOP strut spacer from my leveling kit out and left the bottom strut spacer in.. Worked out truck sits awesome couldn't be anymore perfect.. But I went for a alignment and its till negative toe 1 degree and my esscentrics are maxed. I see rough country makes cam plates for my factory bolts and gives you 1 more degree. AWESOME! what's not awesome is it says 2wd. Anyone else had this issue and or a fix?!

I'm not an IFS expert by any means but it sounds to me like the combined lift of your new 3-1/2" and the bottom of your old level are lifting the truck too much for proper suspension geometry causing the whole spindle to rotate. Most larger IFS lifts have a diff drop bracket that also has a mount for your LCA to help correct geometry issues.

I hope this image posts, and I know our suspension is different from this ford ranger that only has LCA and this is an extreme case but it was the best image i could find.

So my suggestion would be to try and remove your bottom spacer and see if that helps.

I hope someone more knowledgeable will chime in and either confirm my thought or help you remedy your issue

i think your right just hate to loose lift. Hopefully someone can chime in or im spending the money for a real lift! I absolutely love the way it sits..

The 3.5 lift is just a stretched leveling kit. So you leaving the spacer just stretches it even more. Your angles are gonna be terrible. Even if you get the camber right you're setting yourself up for a lot of suspension wear real quick.

All these lifts and level kits compromise various aspects of the suspension or driveline function or reliability. Usually that latter. By combining modifications, you're taking this to a much higher level by putting extreme angles on components which result in poor function and accelerated wear. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.

That was my biggest worry. Thanks for your replies guys I greatly appreciate it. Guess today I'm removing the original leveling kit spacer and realign this puppy and hopefully I still clear the 305/55 in the 20x12! I'll keep you posted thanks a lot

Well once again thanks for the reply's guys I got the leveling kit out alignment worked out well and my new tires are ordered! I ended up going with 305/55 terra graps again always have loved that tire.. Still have quite a bit of rub but not near as much.. Thinking of the 1.25" body lift but I HATE body lifts or just doing away with it all and ordering a 5" rough country lift.. Wish I would have done that before I just spent 521 on this 3.5" ?
