In the trailer plug harness is a wire for the back up lights correct? Thinking of cutting in some 'dually' 3x3 ones in the bumper. Also there is a hot in there too right? To hook up bed light or 2.

Yes to both questions.

 

Look in owners manual for wire colors.

It should be the center pin for reverse lights
