Catch can

Hey guys I have a 2015 Silverado with the 4.3 v6. Installed my rx catch can a couple of months ago even tho there was no diagrams for the v6 all for the v8's but it was almost the same. A buddy of mine told me that I routed the lines wrong. I haven't seen a problem with it and it is collecting oil in the can. How I have it routed is left valve cover and right valve cover breathers going into 2 out of the 3 fittings in the can and the 3rd fitting is going into the pcv valve. My intake nipple is going into the oil cap breather. Can anyone confirm that this is correct or did I really do something wrong. Thank you

If you live in a northern climate that gets pretty cold (below 32 F) in the winter, you might want to try to return the rx can. They're cheap chinese knockoffs these days. Water from condensation will freeze inside the can and cause the glued end pieces to pop off.

Yeah I have read about that. There is a very noticeable different between the cheap ones and the real ones. Mine looks pretty well made with nice welds all around. As for the videos on how to install they are all for the v8's and it is alittle more different then the v6 and not much videos on the triple port catch can with oil cap breather.

Can you actually see the welds? All of the RX cans sold as new today are great looking fakes until they fall apart. It's what the Chinese do best.
