ICON Vehicle Dynamics’ staged suspension systems offer 1.75-3” of total lift height for the new GM Colorado / Canyon trucks, allowing for the fitment of larger and more aggressive wheel/tire combinations. Wheel travel has been increased by 25% over stock, which makes for a much more comfortable ride both on and off-road. ICON engineers’ primary focus for the GM Colorado/Canyon was to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. Researching each component of the GM platform’s suspension and addressing any areas where performance could be extracted, a 25% increase in overall wheel travel was achieved. ICON’s stage 1 system establishes a remarkable level of performance with quality components that include Eibach coil springs, FK Rod End bearings, and ICON’s signature manufacturing quality. As the stages progress ICON control arms, larger shocks, and additional technology are introduced to further increase the overall performance of the Colorado. The Stage 5 system provides a higher level of performance that will drastically improve overall on and off-road vehicle ride characteristics. ICON's Vehicle specific tuned 2.5” remote reservoir coilover shocks and ICON 2.5 Series piggyback rear shocks w/ CDCV in this system provide exceptional cooling properties, with the coilovers utilizing ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” throughout the range of travel. Remote reservoirs front and rear ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during extended offroad use. These 2.5" remote reservoir coilovers w/ CDCV are also height adjustable from 1.75-3” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations when desired. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2015-UP GM Colorado/Canyon suspension systems are an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road while also optimizing performance in the dirt.
