Can I run E85?

I was under the impression that it was fuel lines, tank and injectors that were different

 

Not so much anymore. In the beginning there were some differences for sure, but I wouldn't doubt that most of the fuel systems out there are built with ethanol safe lines, seals, etc. On the GM trucks now, its the sensor and some fuel mapping for E85.

I would think all new vehicles produced now are capable of handling E85 as far as plumbing and seals go. I would think it cost to much to run two separate lines in the manufacturing process plus doesn't make sense. I also don't see Flex Fuel going away any time soon.
