Stupid Question

Okay, I have a really stupid question........ My 03 Z71 Came with a "locker" I was putting my new rims on today and noticed that when I spin one wheel the otherone goes in the other direction..... I thought they should both go in the same direction when they are posi. Also when I was off road and punched it the rearend was making noises, Is that just the locker engaging?

It works like a normal diff until a certain speed difference between the wheels and then it locks.

I don't know if you can spin the rear fast enough by hand, but if you have someone hold the other rear, and you spin the one in front of you, you might be able to get it to lock...

TUNG.....Look in your glove box for the code sheet. Look for code G-80. My 01 ....both wheels turn the same way at the same time. Same with my GTO too.
