Need a new tailgate

I could be wrong, but not long after I got my '14 I was curious about the EZ lift when it came to how they did it. I believe I saw it was something that caused a little friction in the actual mount on the tailgate so you can see it from the outside if you unhooked it from the passenger side. I may look at it again tomorrow and see if I can tell. Not sure if it can be transferred or how hard or easy it is if you can.

I don't see why ez lift won't work. It's internal to the tailgate and the mounts for all tailgates should be the same thing.

It wont work and the mounts are different. I need to find a parts diagram and order new mounting plates for a truck with out the ez drop. Im not happy about having to buy more parts

Do you really need the EZ lift, though? Why not just order a DeeZee assist, and be done with it?

I am over the ez lift. I need the right posts for the tailgate with out it to fit. Where can I find them?
