If yours was stolen or hit I would file the claim, the stock tailgate is around $2500 for the basic one. Start adding on the camera options and other things and it can get around $4-5k or so. Buddies gate was stolen off of his F-350 with the Platinum package, it was $8k to replace his tail gate.

They disappear fairly often around here. Thats why the electric locking tailgates on the '16s are nice in case you forget to lock it with a key.

One just popped up locally on craigslist. Will the ez drop/lift transfer over? The new gate it off a work truck. No camera or ez lift.

Based on a search, ez-lift is not transferable on NNBS, so it probably isn't for these either.

I don't see why ez lift won't work. It's internal to the tailgate and the mounts for all tailgates should be the same thing.
