Maybe they should investigate . Why are GM trucks getting the stated mileage and Ford eco boost owners are complaining they not getting it .lol

Because they can't stay out of the gas to make them run worth a crap.

I drove one yesterday. Plenty of power, as long as you were working the turbo...which kills mileage.

I didn't look to see what mileage the owner was getting, though.

I can't get my 5.3L 8speed to drop below 20.00 mpg's in winter? What gives I smash the pedal even more so and it will not go below 20.00? I should have bought me one of those "dual twin turbo's" spinning at 30k rpm's to give me the mpg's I was looking for?

Lets gert back to the actual topic.

Please use a different thread to discuss small MPG variables. Jerricats original post is an issue of 5 or more below the state highway of 22MPG.

I am in same situation, except worse. I have a stock 2014 5.3 and used to get 22mpg but am all of a sudden getting 14mpg. Dealership; currently has no answers and we have tried everything.

Where are we supposed to go? I have full bumper to bumper warranty. Here is my thread http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/195512-sudden-loss-of-fuel-economy-2014-chevy-silverado-53-lt-dropped-7mpg/

My avg in city is 10-13 MPG (2016 Chevy 5.3L) and HWY is 20-27 MPG. I've seen as low as 9 MPG! I have a lead foot so the issue is me not the truck and I know that. I drive a lot in the city, stop and go traffic vs HWY. If i drove on the highway all day long then that would be great but I don't.
