Full Throttle Lifts

Whats up guys,

I was just wondering if anyone on this post had any experiences with Full Throttle suspension lift kits. I visited the webpage and though cheesy, it seems like they have some pretty sick lifts. Also wondering if its a direct bolt on kit like the Fabtechs or if there is a lot of chopping and welding involved. Thanx ahead.

I would never, ever, ever buy a Whiplash, Full Throttle, Cognito suspension lift. They are crap! I have seen two of them, one was torn up on the side of the road, lost an upper control arm while driving down the road. I have heard of them colapsing when wheeled hard. offraod.com has some good info on them, go to the IFS section and do a search.

I assume you're looking at those lifts b/c you want to go big. I've got 36s and I did a 6+3 combo and it works great! You might want to consider something similar...

I have heard and been recommended by several people, that if you have IFS then you shouldn't go bigger than 35" tires because the stress on the IFS components is too great. If you are going to do serious off-roading, you should save the money and do an axle swap for the front end. Then, go as big as you like. Just my $.02

As far as a Full Throttle lift, I don't know much about them...what is their website?
