Different thicknesses leveling kits

I choose the Motofab 2" kit for my 2011 1500 6.2 crew cab, after the install I am now 7/8 higher in the front vs the rear measuring center line of wheel from ground to wheel well. I'm not liking this. How thick is the spacer on the ruff country or other 2 inch leveling kits compared to the Motofab kit, and is there a shim or spacer I cad just add to the back instead of the full block kit, there is 3/4 of thread left on the rear factory u-bolts. My rear springs are not shot either. Thanks

I would replace your existing block and u-bolts with a 2" or 3" kit. It looks better having the back a little higher than the front. When you are exactly the same height with your front and rear wheel wells, you will still look a little nose high IMO.

What is the factory rear block height, I'm at work and not with my truck.

I read somewhere else on this forum that the stock blocks are 1.25".

I had 2 inch rear blocks. Factory is a 1.25 so I gained .75 inches and new shocks aren't needed. I wanted a bit more lift in the rear so I put in 3 inch blocks and added rear shock extenders just be safe I didn't extend the shocks to their full limit. I got supreme suspension blocks. Do no get them. I advise nothing supreme suspension. I had to do some extra work to make them fit. Not happy.

I need to see if someone makes a shim or spacer kit to add to the factory block and be able to reuse the bolts, granted it would only be probably 3/4 spacer as that's about all the threads left to safety use. if not I will just get the block kit, any one know who other than supreme makes a 2 inch block? I could machine a spacer but usually more time involved and usually the kits are just as cheap. I'm still thinking of milling down the front blocks for a true 2 inch, I'm concerned that the 2.25 - 2.5 lift in the front is going to be to hard on the front end components, CV joints?

If you plan on removing your front spacers to trim them then why don't you buy some 1.5" spacers instead? Get the inexpensive https://www.amazon.com/MotoFab-Lifts-CH-15LM-Leveling-Pickup/dp/B00RDKCOZO . These will give you the look you want and you can leave the back of your truck stock. I may go with the Zone 2" front spacers and 2" blocks. The only reason I would go this way is it is the product my dealership stocks, sells and supports. If I wasn't getting a good deal from them, I would definitely go with the Motofab 1.5".
