Blinker. Learned Something New

When you use the quick blinker while Tow/Haul is on it blinks 6 times, when off its 3. I'm sure the people behind me on the highway thought I was crazy while I messed around with it to figure it out. ?

Well that explains it. Now I don't have to randomly think the truck is quirky or I'm possibly loosing my mind. I noticed it a couple times but didn't think much of it. Thanks for the info.

That's what I thought too, all I could think was how they were going to fix it since it didn't seem to do it all the time. I was taking it in and out of T/H mode while towing it's first trailer and after a few times I figured it out and tested it a few times. Makes sense, next time I want to try the deal where you hold the T/H button in for 3 seconds to activate a cruise control transmission, engine system I just learned about.

2016 sierra OM

"Raise or lower the lever for less than one second until the arrow starts to flash to signal a lane change. This causes the turn signals to automatically flash three times. It will flash six times if Tow/ Haul Mode is active. Holding the turn signal lever for more than one second will cause the turn signals to flash until the lever is released."

All this does is disable grade braking.

Thanks for the tips. My last truck was an 03 excursion with a 7.3 PS, all this new stuff is cool, I'm figuring it out as I go and this site and you guys have helped a lot. Its amazing what has evolved since 03. My X was loaded and it still only had 1/2 of what this truck has. I bought this truck for looks, it's a beautiful truck and I am very picky on clean lines and symmetrical looks and this truck caught my eye in '14. I took it to Silver Lake sand dunes and the truck really surprised me, you could really feel the locking rear end, it chugged up steep dunes without a running start or full throttle, I don't beat my truck, all this was done slow and easy, I can watch others launch their truck and break it in half, I have seen this many times. I just tool around and head to lk mi with my dogs, it's nice to park 50 ft from the shore now that the lake is up so high.
