Gas mileage on lifted sierra w 35s

Looking to see what kind of gas mileage I would get on a truck with a 3" torsion key lift and 35s. It's a truck I'm looking to buy to replace my jeep, and I believe it's either an A/T or M/T style tire

Anyone have any insight on this? It's the sky with the 5.3L v8 if that helps

Depending on how your driving style is and what percentage of highway versus city driving that you do it will get somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-13 MPG.

Once I start college it will be about 70% highway and I don't floor it everywhere I drive pretty reserved typically. Would a programmer help or be worth it at all?

Programmers can help, but beware of the costly side effects. The tuners that are available to plug and play are effective but in my personal experience cause harm to the vehicles driveline. I have had numerous friends who have used these plug and play tuners and soon thereafter are replacing rear ends and transmissions. With that said I have used one before too and they do help the fuel mileage by about 1 MPG. I also have some friends who use them and they also see about 1 MPG gain. I am pasting a link to another thread about tunes. My recommendation is that if you want a tune to carrying it to a custom tune shop and have one professionally done.
