2016 chevy silverado LT z71 bed lights

I have the above truck and bought a bed light kit from gm . When to hook it up last night and removed the plug from the junction box and there are no terminals in side.wtf

I got lucky with mine last week. The dealer the dealer installed them but I know they had to take the tail lights out to do it. I had the tail lights back out over the weekend installing the Bed Extender and noticed the little wire loom running down through there. I guess I need to crawl under the bed and figure out where they run it to... But I'm sure it runs to wherever the power is for the rear bed light
